Security step on payment cards

We have had a number of cases where members have used a payment card that is not in their name, and then after so many transactions the payments have been recalled as fraudulent. I wonder if it is possible to have the card name matched with the member name, as if there is a mismatch then it flag up as a notification to need to be approved by a member of staff? for instance: Natalie Gray https://book.co-wheels.org.uk/admin/accounts/955fd724-c188-11e6-beb6-090b2c4728a9 Has had 4 cards in 4 different names, none of which are hers, in the last 6 months - this is not flagged to staff therefore unless we spot it by accident, or get a recall from the bank, we cannot police this, this also makes us in breach of putting security measures in place to prevent fraud

    Hi Jo,

This exact idea was never implemented to my knowledge, instead this morphed into reinforcing our (and Stripe's) fraud prevention across the entire site. Stripe automatically performs postcode/zip code checks during data entry through their Elements input forms.

    Hi Alex,

Was this ever implemented? I can see it says shipped, however members can still sign up with a card that's not theirs - don't know if that's because they're leaving the name blank? Could we look in to this and also add in a postcode check so that if a member tries to add a new card, we verify that the postcode they type in matches that on their account?

    thanks
