If we add Google Tag Manager to TripIQ and the new App in development than pretty much all future requests to add or remove tracking and analytics code can be avoided, as these can all be managed remotely via Google Tag Manager so there is no need to add or remove the code individually. It is also much more reliable as a way of managing tags.
This, along with Firebase analytics on the mobile app, could then replace all the other outstanding and future requests we currently have for Hotjar, Adwords, Google Analytics etc.
To achieve this we first need the integrations@tripiq.eu to be set up with a Google account then we can add you in as an Admin to Tag Manager and it can be sorted with the one piece of code.

Great except that it can't be fully exploited until the Data Layer is implemented which makes it usable for Adwords and Facebook pixel attribution

Update on this as I understand from Richard this is now planned for the next workstream, I have updated the TripIQ container with four tags - the Facebook tracking pixel, Hotjar tracking code, Active Campaign code so our mailing system knows which pages have been landed on and Center tracking code - this is the marketing automation software which uploads data to Facebook audiences for example.
I have not added the Adwords code which I will leave to the ad agency, or the Google Analytics code as this implementation is a bit trickier as it needs to be set up for cross domain tracking which you guys will understand way better than me.
They haven't been published of course as I expect you would want to manage that to check if it has any impact on TripIQ's performance.

To speed this - and the other tags we are waiting on - along I have created a new container for TripIQ in our Google Tag Manager account, added the integration email address as having access to it with full publishing rights.
So as soon as you put the code snippets on TripIQ the tags can be created for Hotjar, Google Analytics, Google Adwords Conversions and Adwords Remarketing, as well as Drift to add the livechat facility.
Quite happy for you to set them up or I and the ad agency can add them if needed to save time - we are currently spending around £1,000 a month on Adwords spend with no idea if it is effective or not so this would be a quick win to save money, make our ads more effective and sign up new members!
