We are exploring the use of Google Beacons at each of our car locations. If the trial works well we will need to roll this out as we visit each location and activate the beacons individually so they tie in with the Google My Business locations and mapping services which will allows us to serve ads and content more effectively.
Google uses an open API for their beacons so we can also use them to deliver notifications and messages specific to each beacon which can be picked up by enabled smartphones both inside and outside our app – so we could for example encourage App installs by non users when people are near our cars, and also use it to trigger messages in our app for members/users.

There is great potential if it can be integrated with our App, it would be good to get an idea of what functions could be integrated so we can explore this potential.
